President's Cup Tryouts - We Want You!
One of the goals of the Pine Needles Golf Club executive committee this year, is to increase the number of qualifiers for the Past President's Cup Team. Past participants will tell you from first hand experience that it is a fantastic event, and one of their favorite golf weekends of the season.
What is the Past President's Cup?
The Past President's Cup is an Inter Club Team Match Play Challenge (2 person teams) for all handicap levels that competes against other club from around New Brunswick
. It's a home & away single elimination series with the winning club advancing to the next round. There are 5 flights (16 player teams).
Flight A - 2 players - Handicap 6.9 and lower
Flight B - 4 players - Handicap 7 to 11.9
Flight C - 4 players - Handicap 12 to 15.9
Flight D - 4 players - Handicap 16 to 19.9
Flight E - 2 players - Handicap 20 +
We are looking for more qualifying participants from our membership group (must be a Golf NB registered member) to put forward a competitive team.
Deadline to register for this year's cup is Friday June 11th. Put your name on the list by visiting the clubhouse today. Registration fee for this event is $20.
